WATERVILLE - C. Patrick Michaud, 75, of Fairfield, passed away after a brief illness on Friday, Nov. 8, with his family by his side. Born July 14, 1938 in Island Falls, Patrick graduated from Island Falls High School, attended Aroostook State Teachers College and graduated from Gorham State Teachers College with a degree in music. Early in his career, he worked as a music teacher in the Millinocket, MSAD No. 4, Winslow, and MSAD No. 47 school systems, and for the last 41 years he owned and operated Michaud's Piano Tuning & Repair Service.

He was predeceased by his parents, Eleric and Laura (Berger) Michaud, his brother, Francis Michaud, and his sister, Reida Krantz. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Laura (Lennon) Michaud; his son, Michael Michaud and wife Pamela (Dery) Michaud, of Presque Isle; his daughter, Linda (Michaud) Peters and husband Brian Peters, of Houston, Texas; his son, Joe Michaud and wife Kelly (Negrete) Michaud, of Exeter, N.H.; and his son, C. Patrick Michaud II and wife Sarah (Woehler) Michaud, of Oakland.
He is also survived by seven grandchildren: Nicole (Michaud) Moody and her husband, Craig Moody; Lindsay Michaud; Kelsey Michaud; Sean Michaud; Ryan Michaud; Quin Peters; and Brianne Peters; and five nephews.
Patrick had a lifelong love of music. As a teacher, musician and piano tuner, his love for music was surpassed only by his faith in God and his love for his family.
