WINSLOW -- Scott Allan "Bucky" Loisel, 16, died unexpectedly Friday, Oct. 26, 2012. He was born in Waterville, April 15, 1996, the son of Viola Loisel Laforte and Scott Bickford. He was a junior at Winslow High School, having played sports such as football, baseball, basketball and wrestling. Scott was studying to be an electrician, and he loved working at his uncle's garage as well as landscaping to earn money for his car. Scott will be remembered for his belly laugh, for putting ketchup on his pancakes and putting mayonnaise on almost everything. His family remembers him as a very generous young man who would give the shirt off his back or his last dollar to help someone. But most of all, Scott loved having fun with his friends.
He was predeceased by a grandfather, Rick Loisel.
Surviving along with his parents, his mom, Viola Laforte, and his father, Scott Bickford, are his stepdad Justin Laforte; grandmother Rose Loisel; grandmother Alice Laforte; and Nana Two, Viola Knowles; his brothers, Tyler Loisel and Keanu; sister Tammickea Stewart; his uncle, Rick Loisel II; his girlfriend, Katrina Keppel; his second family, Matt, Justin, Mike and Mary Fortier; and close family friend, Kari Perry; his dog, Diesel; and many, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, at Faith Free Evangelical Church, Kennedy Memorial Drive, Waterville. Donations in Scott's memory can be made to the Scott Loisel Memorial Fund, c/o TD BankNorth.
