BELGRADE -- Jackson Daniel Bolduc, 25 years of age, passed away on June 17, 2012, from injuries received as a passenger in a tragic car accident that occurred the prior evening on Horse Point Road in North Belgrade.
Jack was born on the Horse Point Road on March 20, 1987, to Wendy (Tukey) and Daniel Bolduc. He spent his childhood alongside his loving parents and sister, Holly, roaming the woods between his home and beloved Great Pond. While Jack tolerated school, graduating from Messalonskee High in 2005, his passion was the out-of-doors and the variety of what each season presented. Spring and summer found Jack in the bottom of a canoe or outboard, trying out any combination of hook, bait and lure that might attract a trout, salmon or bass from the depths. Fall brought him ashore to search out four-legged critters of every size, preferably large ones sporting sizable racks --one per season, he was regularly reminded. And winter required that he sink a chisel into every frozen surface he could find his way onto -- alone or in the company of his parents or friends, always thoroughly enjoying himself in the company of the great outdoors.
Since graduating from high school, Jack had been employed full-time by Prism Painting Inc., of Waterville, where he worked alongside his dear Uncle Al, who had the honor of watching this young lad mature into a responsible and skilled professional who was highly respected by his co-workers as well as his customers.
Jack's soft-spoken nature, patience, generosity and willingness to help others at all times rewarded him with many loyal friends who enjoyed his company and who must now work hard to sustain and pass along all the good that he shared.
Before departing, Jack had the especially good fortune of falling completely in love with another who equally shared her complete love for him. Few are so fortunate. May Jack and Kristin be blessed in finding everlasting love.
Jack leaves behind his parents, Wendy and Dan; sister Holly and her son, Kadin Caret; and his black Lab, Blazes.
On his mother's side, Jack was predeceased by his grandfather, Kenneth Tukey. Surviving are his grandmother, Colleen Tukey; Aunt Jean Tukey; Uncle Chris Tukey and Uncle Kenny Tukey.
On his father's side, Jack was predeceased by his grandmother, Theresa Bolduc. He is survived by his grandfather, Richard Bolduc; Aunt Lydia Bolduc Marden, husband Bob; and cousins Brad and Sadie, Uncle Alan Bolduc; and cousin Carlie, and Uncle Bill Bolduc, wife Mio and cousins Joel and Jasmine.
A commemorative service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday, June 21, 2012, at North Belgrade Community Center. All are welcome.
