ASTOR, Fla. -- Mr. Thomas Martin Cole, 62, of Astor, Fla., passed away Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012. Born in Providence, R.I., he moved to Astor from Harmony, Maine in 2000. He was a farmer and was a U. S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam conflict. He loved to hunt and fish and build things. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and Disabled American Veterans post in Umatilla, Fla.Survivors include his wife, Barbara A. Cole, of Astor, Fla., and his sister, Shirley Cole, of Jennings, Fla.; and "the kids," Sasha and Bella.
Memorial services will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012, at the Beyers Funeral Home Chapel, in Astor, Fla., with Rev. Terry Holland officiating. Online condolences may be made at www.beyersfuneralhome.com.
