OAKLAND -- Susan Marie Fultz, 42, died unexpectedly on Feb. 17, 2013, at her Oakland home.
She was born in Toledo, Ohio, on March 2, 1970, the daughter of William and Janice (Lenfest) Bellaire. Susan graduated from Skeels Northern Christian School in Skeels, Mich., class of 1988. She earned her bachelor's degree from Bob Jones University in Greenville, S.C., in 1993.
Susan worked in the dietary and radiology departments at MaineGeneral Medical Center, was employed as an operator by Maine Dartmouth Medical and in-patient registration at Inland Hospital.
She was a resident of Oakland and Clinton for nearly 20 years and was active in an online support group for people with disabilities called Invisible Disabilities Community. Susan was an avid reader and enjoyed listening to Southern gospel music. She loved animals, especially her pet dogs, cats and rabbit.
Surviving are her husband, Larry J. Fultz, of Oakland; her parents, of Clinton; two brothers, Mark Bellaire and wife, Erin, and their son, Jacob, of Clinton, and Stephen Bellaire and wife, Ruth, of Scarborough; aunts and uncles, Richard and Elizabeth Bellair, and Jean Mettler, of Toledo, Ohio, Mary and Carl Wright, of Hollywood, Fla., Richard Lenfest, of Belmont, and Alexandra Lenfest, of Belmont, N.H.; and many cousins.
Friends are invited to visit from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at Wheeler Funeral Home, 26 Church St., Oakland. A celebration of Susan's life will be at 1 p.m. March 9 at Burnham Baptist Church, 25 Troy Road, Burnham. Burial will be at a later date.
