OAKLAND -- Ryan Allen Taylor, 19, died unexpectedly on Thursday, April 25, 2013, in Sidney.
He was born in Waterville on June 3, 1993, the son of Jeffrey Loren and Linda K. (Kitchin) Taylor.
Ryan attended Oakland schools, graduating from Messalonskee High School, class of 2011. He has been employed by McDonald's on Kennedy Memorial Drive in Waterville for the past three years.
Ryan was very musical. His musical talent was accomplished mostly by ear and his skill was demonstrated by his ability to pick up and play any instrument. He was an avid photographer, loved being outside and recently found pleasure playing disc golf.
Surviving are his parents, of Oakland; his twin brother, Nathan David Taylor, of Oakland; his older brother, Eric Loren Taylor, of Oakland; his grandparents, Harland Taylor and wife Gloria, of Oakland, and Faye Kitchin, of Temple; his aunt Sue and husband Mike, of Belgrade; his uncle Mike and wife Linda, of Oakland; his uncle Danny and wife Cathy, of Oakland; his uncle Randy of Waterville; his aunt Nancy of Temple; and many cousins and extended family. Ryan will be missed by his many great friends and his many co-workers at McDonald's. He was predeceased by his grandmother Carol Taylor and grandfather Leroy Kitchin.
Friends are invited to visit from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday, April 29, at Wheeler Funeral Home, 26 Church St., Oakland, www.wheelerfh.com. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lighthouse Ministry Center on High Street in Oakland.
