JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. -- Mr. Robert Wayne Bradford, 72, of Jonesborough, passed away Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Mr. Bradford was a native of Skowhegan, Maine, and son of the late Wayne D. and Evelyn (Grignon) Bradford.
He was a veteran of the Air Force, having served for more than 20 years. After retirement, he was a civil service employee for more than 10 years. While in the Air Force, he had the opportunity to live and serve in many places around the world. Some of his hobbies included flying private aircraft, go-cart racing, motorcycles and boating. While he lived in Florida, he spent many hours fishing and was a licensed boat captain.
Survivors include his wife, Carol (Withrow) Bradford, of Jonesborough, Tenn.; son Robert Bradford Jr., of Burlington, Wash.; one daughter, Sharon Bradford, of Glendale, Ariz.; one brother, Bruce Bradford, of Waterville, Maine; stepdaughter Teresa Bedell, of Clinton, Tenn.; grandsons: Robert III, David, Michael and Kevin; one granddaughter, Cheryl Ann; and two great-grandchildren.
