CONCORD TOWNSHIP -- Kenneth J. Ebneter Jr., 59, died Sunday, July 21, 2013, at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, with his family by his side. He was born on June 10, 1954, in Teaneck, N.J., the oldest son of Kenneth J. and Joanne (Andrich) Ebneter, who predeceased him.

He attended Riverridge school. He served in the regular Air Force, airman 1st class, as a military policeman until January 1975. He served as a commander for the American Legion Post 99 in Bingham. He was also a sales merchant for Colonial Distributor for years.

He enjoyed watching the stars, gardening and flowers. He loved to hunt, fish and go four-wheeling with his grandchildren. Kenny loved spending time with friends and family and the Lakehouse. Kenneth also loved to listen to his nephew Greyson play guitar and sing.

Kenneth is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Karen (Ashby) Ebneter; three beautiful daughters, Nicole Ebneter and her fiance, George Yodice, of Starks, Danielle (Ebneter) Church and her husband, Jeremy, of Anson, Candace Ebneter, of Solon; his siblings Kurt Ebneter, and his wife, Lenore, and their children Grayson and Ava Ebneter, of Oradell, N.J., Kerryl Ebneter and her fiance, George Nitti, of Greenwood Lake, N.Y., and Kim and Ken Lefebvre, of East Brunswick, N.J.; mother-in-law Margaret Inman, of Madison; several brothers and sisters-in-law, Debra and Jim Wells, of Norridgewock, Lawrence and Deborah Ashby, of Starks, and Tonya Ashby, of Madison. Kenneth was also survived by his most precious grandchildren, Kailie Ebneter, AraBella Ebneter and Jeramiah Church; his best friends, Charlie Veltri, Travis and Valerie Gilbert; and several other dear friends, nieces, nephews and family.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 26, 2013, at Giberson Funeral Home, 40 Maple St., in Madison. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 27, 2013, at Karen & Kenneth's Home, 681 Jackson Pond Road, in Concord.
