NORRIDGEWOCK -- John Edward Arabie, 66, passed away on July 23, 2013, at his home. He was a resident of Norridgewock, formerly of Chula Vista, Calif. Mr. Arabie was an Army veteran who enjoyed working outdoors and reading. His favorite author was John Steinbeck.
He is survived by his wife, Diane, of Norridgewock; his three daughters, Amy Hilliard and husband Billy, of Rock Springs, Wyo., Holly Robertson and husband James, of San Diego, Calif., and Traci Davis and husband Coley Jr., of Ashland, Ore.; 13 grandchildren, Theodore Schelin Jr., Cassidy Hilliard, Dustin Hilliard, Krystal Robertson, Jason Robertson, Aaon Robertson, Emma Robertson, Gracie Robertson, Coley Davis III, Nicholas Arabie, Caitlin Davis, Tyler Davis and Nora Davis; and three great-grandsons, Damon, Dominic and Seth. He is also survived by his brother, Dennis Arabie, sister-in-law Patricia, niece Samantha, and sister Kathryn, all of Prescott, Ariz.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ambrose; mother Margaret; and sister Rebecca.
At the family's request, no services will be held at this time.
